Mission:

To provide veterans benefits and services to the veterans and their families in a responsive, timely, and  compassionate manner in recognition of there service to the Nation.

Department Description and Function:

Administers the federal veterans benefits programs through the Custer County Veterans Office, The South Dakota Division of Veterans Affairs, The Veterans Benefits Administration, The National Cemetery System, and The Veterans Health Administration.
